AI-based logistics technology gains global recognition... Pursuing investments and partnerships in North America and Europe
Domestic logistics technology company GLEC Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Kim Eun-woo and Kang Deok-ho) has gained momentum in entering the global market by winning an innovation award at the world's largest information technology (IT) exhibition, 'CES 2026'.
GLEC announced that its 'GLEC AI Tachograph (DTG·Digital Tachograph)' was selected as an Honoree in the Supply & Logistics category at the CES Innovation Awards® 2026. The CES Innovation Awards, organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), are prestigious awards that serve as an important indicator for global companies to prove the marketability of new technologies.
In the global logistics market, digital transformation and the strengthening of environmental regulations are occurring simultaneously. According to market research firms, the smart logistics market is expected to grow by more than 10% annually, reaching a scale of hundreds of billions of dollars (hundreds of trillions of KRW) by 2030. In particular, the demand for accurate carbon measurement solutions is rapidly increasing due to the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the mandatory corporate carbon disclosure in the United States.
GLEC's AI Tachograph aligns with these market trends. It features a large language model (LLM) with 20 billion parameters, analyzing driving conditions in real-time and reducing accident risks by 20-40%. Simultaneously, it precisely measures the carbon emissions of freight trucks using the international standard ISO-14083 methodology. The API (Application Programming Interface) developed by GLEC also includes a function to automatically report measurement data to governments worldwide.
Kim Eun-woo, Co-CEO, stated, "Receiving the CES Innovation Award has recognized our technological capabilities in the global market," and added, "We will pursue strategic partnerships with global logistics companies and vehicle manufacturers, focusing on North America and Europe, and also aim to attract Pre-A investments."
GLEC is a logistics technology specialist company developing AI-based digital tachographs, API-based carbon calculation platforms, and cloud-based logistics carbon accounting management systems. It measures carbon emissions using the ISO-14083 methodology and is the first in the country to participate in the certification program of the international logistics decarbonization organization, Smart Freight Centre.
The company plans to exhibit the award-winning product at CES 2026, held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 6 to 9, and discuss collaboration plans with global companies and investors.
The CES Innovation Awards® are selected based on descriptive materials submitted to the judges, and the CTA has not verified the accuracy of the submissions or tested the award-winning products directly.
